Meet Amanda Padula

Bridge to Books’ new Chair of the Board of Directors shares why she serves

Since its inception in 2021, I knew I wanted to take an active role in Bridge to Books' plan to bring The Imagination Library to the Stillwater School District. Childhood literacy is so important and The Imagination Library makes it easy for parents to promote reading in the home with monthly deliveries of high-quality free books for children ages birth to 5.

As a member of the board since Bridge to Books' inception, I've appreciated the opportunity to bring my expertise as a fundraiser and marketer, and work together on all aspects of bringing this nonprofit to life. I've been amazed to see how our community has rallied behind us. In fact, we've far surpassed our initial enrollment goals and I'm proud that we're now sending more than 1,000 books each month!

I invite you to join us as we enter our third year! We are looking for new board members to help us continue our early momentum. Please also consider supporting us either by referring the program to parents of children under 5 or donating to help us continue to expand our imprint.

With your support in these areas, I can't wait to watch it continue to have an ever-expanding impact on our community!
