The sisters behind Bridge to Books:
Katie Bang
Katie is the Vice President of Trust and Estate Services at Lake Elmo Bank. After graduating from Stillwater Area High School, Katie earned a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration Management at the College of St. Benedict. As a board member of Stillwater Noon Rotary Club and The Partnership Plan, Katie is dedicated to serving our community. Katie also frequently leads fundraising and volunteer initiatives with various local organizations. Katie lives in Stillwater with her husband, Erik, and her sons, Jack and Gavin.
Nickie is the Teller Coordinator at Sunrise Banks in St. Paul. Nickie graduated from Stillwater Area High School and attended the College of St. Benedict, where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Communication. Nickie also studied at Eastern Florida State College, receiving a certificate in Broadcast Production. Nickie is looking forward to using her extensive experience in marketing, videography, and customer service to help spread the word about the Imagination Library. Nickie lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Sam, and her son, Owen.
Nickie Ferguson
Laurann is an attorney at Galowitz Olson law firm. After receiving her Bachelors of Business Administration in Music Business and J.D. at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, she moved back home to be closer to family. When Laurann wanted to gift the Imagination Library program to her young nephews, she was shocked to learn there was no program active in the area. Laurann decided to put that surprise into action! Laurann lives in Stillwater with her husband, Jon, her son, Kenny, and their dog, Phoebe.
